Small group of Chicago police costs city millions in settlements

At HLO, we have been fighting for the black and brown people in the Garfield Ridge neighborhood for the past several years and we represented many of the people mentioned in this article. These police officers- who patrol their own blocks-drew the media's attention because they have some of the highest numbers of complaints in the Department but have suffered no consequences for racking up those numbers.
